Hi, I'm Stephan — a filmmaker, photographer, podcaster and ultra-cyclist from Germany.
For 2027 and beyond, I'm looking to build a few long-term partnerships with brands that share my passion for cycling, adventure and storytelling.
I'd love to work with brands that want to become a natural part of my races, adventures and creative projects. Whether that's through equipment, financial support or ideas we develop together — I'm open to exploring what makes sense for both sides.
Podcast
Together with Jana Kesenheimer, I host a podcast about ultra-cycling, racing, personal experiences and sometimes controversial topics within the cycling community.
We publish at least twice a month and recently hosted our first live podcast in St. Gallen with around 120 people attending.
Film & Youtube
I create documentary films about ultra-cycling, endurance and the people behind extraordinary challenges.
Instead of focusing on frequent uploads, I put my time into carefully crafted stories with cinematic visuals, authentic characters and a longer shelf life than typical social media content.
Some films follow my own adventures, while others explore the stories of athletes who inspire me.
My channel currently has around 17,000 subscribers and 200 paying channel members who directly support my work.
It's a way to stay connected with my audience between bigger projects and share experiences as they happen.
I approach collaborations the same way I approach my own content: products and brands should fit naturally into what I do, rather than becoming the reason I create something.
I don’t produce fancy reels with slop content.
What a partnership could look like
I believe the best collaborations happen when a product becomes a natural part of someone's life, rather than just another advertisement.
Depending on the brand and the project, a partnership could involve:
Genuine product integration throughout my races, training and adventures
Visibility across my YouTube films, Instagram and podcast
Photography and cinematic content created along the way
Honest, long-term product experience and feedback
Collaborative storytelling or dedicated film projects
I'm open to different ideas and would love to develop something that makes sense for both sides.
My goal isn't to work with as many brands as possible, but to build a small number of partnerships I genuinely believe in.
Upcoming Projects for 2027 will be…
Cycling trough Scotland - The Pictish Trail around 800k with Mtb self supported (photo or film documented)
Cycling the Annapurna Circuit 260km with high altitude so this will take some time with mtb
Racing Transpyrenees as main race for 2027 (1500km / 38.000hm road or maybe some gravel)
Producing two more Ultra Cycling Documentary Film. Still figuring out wich story is worth telling
Two more Ultra Cycling Races to prepare for Transpyrenees. Bright Midnight in Norway maybe.
